Hello Heartland Club Members:
It's been a long time since the webpage has
been updated. But I'm finally feeling ready to take your
submissions and updates. Send info that you would like to see
posted on the site to
swissylover@yahoo.com. If you are listed on the breeders
page and want something special, let me know and I will work on
making a page you can be proud of. I did most of the work on
my 'pagette' - Susan Justice helped me A LOT during the build
period. But if you're looking for a basic page with pictures
and some information on your breeding program, I can help.
I hope to have a more exact date for the next
weight pull soon. Right now, I am gearing up for the
National Specialty being
held in MO at Purina Farms. The show starts April 30 and goes
through May 5th. I hope to see many of you there. You
can get information by clicking on the link above.
If you weren't aware, the Heartland Club is
putting together a basket of goodies to be auctioned at the
National. I suggest dog and human items - so far we have a
bottle of wine, a figurine, dog blankets and raw hides. Let's
make our first basket the best one there! Call or e-mail me
soon with items you would like to contribute. Dig through the
bargain bins at your local pet stores - leashes, collars, treats,
odor/stain remover - anything you feel would make our basket stand
out! Go through your swissy collection - anything there that
you don't want to keep but someone else might? Also, if
someone wants to donate a copy of that new swissy book...wouldn't
that be a great touch too :-)
